Eating Out in AbergavennyFollowing the success of the Food Festival, Abergavenny has an increasing number of excellent restaurants and pubs with food. Among them are the famous Walnut Tree Inn, The Bear at Crickhowell, The Pantriwgoch, The Foxhunter, The Nant-y-Ffin at Tretower, The Bell at Skenfrith, The Black Bear at Bettws, Llansantfraed Court, Giffaes, The Manor, The Medici Bistro, as well as the usual range of Indian and Chinese restaurants and many more pubs. Why not make a weekend of it and have dinner with us on Friday when you arrive. The next day take a gentle stroll around our wonderful countryside, or do some sight seeing, and then visit one of the above for lunch and dinner. For something completely different, there
are medieval banquets at Caldicot Castle. Another short walk
on Sunday could be followed by a leisurely lunch before setting
off for home. |
