House Accessibilty Statement
Pentre Court is built on a slope and is on several levels. It is a listed building. The slope and the listing make it difficult to make alterations to accommodate some forms of disability; however, every possible effort will be made to help where we can. We have plentiful off road parking in front of the house with a maximum of 10 metres to front door. There is no step up to the large entrance hall with seating, visitor information, and the doors to the lounge and dining room. There are eleven steps up to the first landing and the Green Room. The en suite bathroom for this room has three steps down into it. Along the landing there are four steps down to the Lilac Room. The en suite bathroom for this room is on the same level. Off the main landing five steps go up to the Rose Room, which has a level en suite bath room. All baths are with showers over. All rooms have radios as well as televisions, and tea making facilities. A low energy light is left on all night on each landing.
Special diets can be catered for, eg. Vegetarian, celiac, dairy free. We use local products where ever possible, often organic and make every endeavour to support Fair Trade, and we re-cycle as much as possible.

Access to the garden is via the front door, or down four steps to the Garden door at the back of the house. The garden itself is 3.5 acres or thereabouts of formal and wild garden with gravel, paved, packed earth and grass paths. Some of the ground is uneven with tree roots and mole holes, we do what we can to level them out.
We have a bus stop by the top gate, the buses run every two hours, and there is a train station in Abergavenny, about 6 minutes by car. A lift or taxis can be arranged.
